So obviously theres a lot of interest in what the scientific research says about getting in nature and putting ones feet on the ground aka grounding. Iβm not a scientist, so go get the cold hard facts from your trusted sources like Huberman Lab, but I do know that getting out into nature has over and over again proven to have numerous positive health effects.
Quickly before I get into working from nature, I just want to say it is a privilege to be able to do so. Many career paths are tied to the indoors and many of us get to bring our laptops in nature-esque places which is extremely special.
WFN - a term I coined earlier this year but have been doing for many moonsβ¦a serious craving that is not a want, itβs an EXCRUCIATING NEED. Intuitively our bodies know that getting outside into nature can enhance various aspects of mental health, physical health, and thereby enhance performance in different aspects of life ie: cognitive focus, lessen burnout, production of serotonin that calms us and quite literally gives us the will to live π€ΈββοΈ
Earlier last week I created a poll on IG asking you all if you worked from nature and about 72% of you said you do work from nature and no surprise there 97% of you said βDuhhhhhπ¦ππ·β in response to βDo you wish you could WFN more?β

So ultimately this Noursletter is writing itself as today I am here to tell you that WFN not only has massive potential for improvement of your brain function and concentration (within reason and environment), but you are most likely already craving it in this screen based world where most of our days are dominated by being indoors with minimal light exposure (I envision an umbilical cord is connecting us to our computers and aliens are laughing at us). If were going to be dependent on screens, we might as well do it in a place that is soothingππ¦
As someone in a human body who is sharing this conscious atmospheric experience with you, I feel it is my responsibility to share that I do experience burn out and exhaustion, and these are the place I seek to find connection to the place we all came from (π) and how I get more vitamin D in my bones!
Below are my favorite places in LA to werk ππ©βπ» and catch a few π rays while im at it π
Tartine (SaMo location ONLY π ββοΈ no wifi unfortch)
The perfect long table under a canopy of vines for a tuscan escape in the middle of Los Angeles..get your work done early and maybe you can sneak off to the beach for a dip + sunset aka my personal heaven
